Brit Reis


Brit Reis, MD, a board certified pediatrician, holds a medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, and completed her residency training and chief residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland in 1997. Currently, Dr. Reis is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Hawaii School of Nursing and a Fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). .

Dr. Reis has been in private practice in Kailua since 2002. She resides in Kailua with her husband, Jon, and their son and daughter. Brit enjoys swimming, running, tennis, yoga and being with her family.

Martha Welch


Martha Welch, MD, a board certified pediatrician, recently joined our practice. She graduated with high honors from Baylor College of Medicine where she was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha Society.  She then completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at University of San Francisco in 1985.  Her work experience includes 18 years as a Clinical Professor in General Pediatrics at UCSF.  She has been cited as “Top Bay Area Physician” rated by their peers (one of 13 pediatricians listed in San Francisco) in Magazine San Francisco and in the “Survey of Favorite Pediatricians in Bay Area” in Babies by the Bay, authors Keene & Lamarre.  

Robin Lynch


Robin Lynch, MD, a board certified pediatrician, holds a medical degree from the University of California Davis School of Medicine where she was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. She then completed the University of California Irvine/ Children’s Hospital Orange County Pediatric Residency Program. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of California Los Angeles.

Dr. Lynch joined Reis Pediatrics in January 2015. When not caring for children, she enjoys running, hiking, yoga, soccer, cooking, reading, and most of all, spending time with her husband, Chris.

Pamela Almeida


Pamela Almeida, a licensed neonatal nurse practitioner, holds a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University in Boston, and a Clinical Research from the John A. Burns School of Medicine, Honolulu. An Assistant Professor and the Chair of the Baccalaureate Nursing Program at Hawaii Pacific University, Pamela has also served as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Hawaii, Manoa and Clinical instructor at the John A. Burns School of Medicine. A member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing/Theta Kappa and Gamma Psi, she serves as a neonatal nurse practitioner at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Center and Kapi`olani Medical Center for Women and Children.

Dr. Almeida joined Reis Pediatrics in 2013. She is active in the Kailua community, her church and outrigger paddling.

Jeanette Leitner


Jeanette Leitner, a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP, APRN) with a Master degree in nursing from the University of Hawaii, joined Reis Pediatrics in October 2010. Previous to joining the medical team at Reis Pediatrics she spent 14 years as a registered nurse, NRP and PALS provider. Her experience includes working at University of California, San Francisco; University of California, Davis; Kapiolani Medical Center, and Castle Home Care, including pediatric care, trauma, general inpatient pediatric post-op recovery, neonatal care, and pediatric respite. .

Jeanette and her husband, Scott, have lived in Kailua since 2000. They have two young teenagers Zac and Natalie. Jeanette especially enjoys family time, attending their soccer games, practicing yoga, and outdoor activities like jogging and paddling.

Jodie Dresel

RN, IBCLC, Lactation Consultant

Jodie Dresel, a board-certified lactation consultant at Reis Pediatrics and Castle Medical Center since 2013, also has a decade of experience in labor and delivery-postpartum. Previously, she worked as a board-certified lactation consultant, RN, and childbirth educator at the Mayo Clinic.

Jodie is very passionate about breastfeeding education and helping women breastfeed. Her four-year-old breastfed son was her inspiration in becoming a lactation consultant. She makes her home in Kailua with her husband, Dan, and son Jude. Beach time is high on Jodie's list of activities, as is spending time with family, yoga and hiking.
